1872 ¼a black with single frame line. Experts of Bhopal consider this to be the first stamp issued by Bhopal and as such should be renumbered in catalogs to reflect it. This is the only recorded unused example of this stamp (9 used copies have been recorded) putting this is the same category as one of the world's rarest stamp. It is undoubtedly the rarest Indian stamp. Unused without gum as issued. Minute thin mentioned for accuracy. Ex. Dan Walker collection. 2025 ISES certificate. 2026 SG catalog value of £40,000 in our humble opinion is unrealistic for a unique stamp.
