Letter addressed to the King of Jaipur. India Queen Victoria ½ anna postal stationery envelope registered and franked on reverse with 2a orange tied by 'J' in circle of parallel bars with JEYPORE boxed registration strike with '95' with boxed 'TOO LATE'. "H.H. Maharaja of Jeypore" in manuscript on front translating the address written in Urdu.
Cover addressed "To / His Highness The Maharaja / of Jaipur / Jaipur" franked on reverse with India QV ½a blue with Jaipur delivery cds dated September 11.
