1868-75 1a black with accents over first letters on top and bottom lines on blue laid paper with manuscript ink cancel as often found for the early Typeset issue of Soruth. This stamp is recorded on green, blue, yellow and pink wove paper. Previously unrecorded and most likely unique. A great rarity of Soruth SG 6-9 group. 2025 ISES certificate.

This stamp on toned wove paper is not recorded by SG with inverted surcharge; it is recorded on white wove paper. Catalog value for the listed stamp on cover is £1000, this being much rarer. 2025 ISES certificate

One sheet of each stamp was so inscribed by the postmaster and kept in the State treasury. With toned gum as always found due to the fact that these were in the State treasury until the 1970's.
