1867 ½a ultramarine printed in watercolor on native paper used on cover from Srinagar to Amritsar with two strikes of boxed 'POSTAGE DUE / ONE ANNA' boxed Unpaid strike with Umballa octagonal transit strike. The letter was charged 1 anna postage due which was calculated at twice the deficiency; in this case the absence of British India ½a postage as it was sent to Amritsur in British India.
1904 ½a pale blue used on folded letter tied by intaglio seal cancel with indistinct delivery cds.

Letter addressed to the King of Jaipur. India Queen Victoria ½ anna postal stationery envelope registered and franked on reverse with 2a orange tied by 'J' in circle of parallel bars with JEYPORE boxed registration strike with '95' with boxed 'TOO LATE'. "H.H. Maharaja of Jeypore" in manuscript on front translating the address written in Urdu.
Cover addressed "To / His Highness The Maharaja / of Jaipur / Jaipur" franked on reverse with India QV ½a blue with Jaipur delivery cds dated September 11.
Part cover franked with Poonch 1p red on yellow pair tied by Poonch concentric of squares cancel with JAMMU AND KASHMIR / SRINAGAR 19 JL 91" triple ring cds transit cds on both sides, with a partial strike on another 3-ring transit cds and 'JAMMU AND KASHMIR / SOPUR / 23 AU 91' delivery cds. Note that this cover travelled thru the 'Uri' route and took more than a month to from the time it entered in the J&K State postal system to the date of delivery.
